The Lorain Raceway Park Hall of Fame board uncovered another class of inductees lost to time. In 2008, twelve members were inducted into the Lorain Raceway Park Hall of Fame during a time when records at the track were hard to come by. The class was uncovered when a board member reached out to one of the 2008 inductees to notify them of their nomination for the Class of 2025, that member provided a photo of the induction plaque and sent the board digging for more information.
“We have tried to make sure our Hall of Fame list is thorough and complete but we have struggled with finding some of the classes during some of the years where the track went through ownership or management changes” said Jim Foose, Jr. LRP Hall of Fame Board Member. “We now feel we have every previous induction class and all of the inductees, all 54 of them before the Maggio family’s purchase of the speedway and we will add another ten this year”.

- Tony Lavati
- John Nagy
- Bud Middaugh
- Duane Depuy
- Del Depuy
- Milton Depuy
- Ralph Meilander
- Randy Wynne
- Rusty Adams
- Don Arnold, Sr.
The twelve inductees from 2008 will be honored at the 2025 Lorain Raceway Park Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Saturday, July 19th along with ten new inductees.
