Northern Ohio Quarter Midget Star TJ Shaffer is headed to Indianapolis as part of the BC39 event, Shaffer will be competing in the Inaugural Stoops Junior Sprint Invitational, which will race at the historic venue for the first time ever July 1st and 2nd.

“I’m super excited for this racing season! I’ve been working hard and can’t wait to get back on the track.” TJ Shaffer stated. “One of the coolest things ever is that I’ve been invited by Storm Chassis to race my Jr. Sprint in the BC39 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway! It’s such an honor to be part of this awesome event with so many amazing drivers. I’m ready to give it my all and have a ton of fun doing what I love — racing!”

Shaffer, who has competed nationally in the NASCAR Youth Series the past two seasons and has racked up an impressive list of accomplishments.  Racing a Storm Chassis in local and national competition, Shaffer will be one of sixteen drivers invited to compete in the Stoops Junior Sprint Invitational.

“Dad is just proud that we have come from borrowing trucks to race at local tracks to racing across the country, it has been very special and I am glad I get to sit in the passenger seat and see where the journey takes us” said Tigh Shaffer, TJ’s father.  “I never imagined TJ winning a national race let alone getting picked to run an invitation only race with 16 of the best kids In the country inside the Indianapolis motor speedway. This is going to one of Tj’s biggest weeks ever and we are both putting in extra work to accomplish special goals. I am so proud of all of the work that TJ does on and off of the track. His dedication to racing is truly remarkable!”
