(SOUTH AMHERST, OH) Citing low car counts and not enough interest, Little Lorain Raceway has canceled the finale for the NASCAR Youth Series Quarter Midgets on the backstretch of the 3/8 mile speedway. Scheduled for next weekend, September 27th and 28th, the Buckeye Bash was set to wrap up the 2025 racing season for the “next generation of racers”, instead the Little Lorain Raceway Quarter Midget Club will honor the drivers with a banquet style event at the speedway on Sunday, September 28th at Noon.

No plans have been released for the 2026 season at Little Lorain Raceway. With the facility for sale and uncertainty surrounding any future events at Lorain Raceway Park, the future of the Little Lorain Raceway is also uncertain.

Little Lorain Raceway graduates will be competing in various levels of racing in the region in 2026. Keegan Weese is expected to once again pilot the #37 Must See Racing Midwest Light Crate Sprint Car, Ayden Thacker is expected to join the Outlaw 350 Supermodified Sprint Series, and Addy Salkiewicz is exploring options to compete in the Must See Racing Midwest Lights Series in 2026.
