Saturday’s auction of Sandusky Speedway was a success for seller Kevin Jaycox, who’s operated the famed half-mile for 24 years.
“Ok here’s all I am going to say as of now yes we sold Sandusky Speedway yesterday . Yes it’s a done deal .” – Kevin Jaycox via Facebook
Initially, the posting by the Auction stated “It’s truly an honor to have been part of this historic moment — closing the chapter on decades of racing memories and opening the door for exciting new possibilities ahead!”. The posting was edited a short time later to read “It’s truly an honor to have been part of this historic moment — opening the door for exciting new possibilities ahead!”

As if things weren’t complicated enough with mixed signals fueling the rumor mill, nothing more has been posted or said. Given the circumstances, there was no Monday night Sandusky Speedway Live on Facebook.
We have no further information to post. When we do know something official, we will post it right here on the Speedway Action Magazine website.
