What happens after the season ends? The work is just beginning for many local race teams. The cars we see on the racetrack each week from April-October begin the teardown process, followed by the refresh and rebuild stages. We caught a few racecars that we watched race this summer in their winter homes.
Charlie Baur’s #23 Sprint Car looks alot different stripped down to the chassis as the crew rebuilds for 2025.
Blake Lawson’s #5 is beginning the teardown stage with the body mostly off of the #5 Street Stock. We don’t know if the shark fins will return in 2025, but we know Blake’s dad Brandon has something up his sleeve (and a funny face to go along with it).
The #66 of Andrew Broccone is stripped down about as far as a Compact can be with the uni-body construction. Broccone competes regularly at The Painesville Speedway.
One of the Way’s Motorsports under construction. We can’t wait to see this one on track!
Tristan Crago shared this one, a customer car at HighSide Bodies and Fabrication.
