In 1965, N.E. Pete Jacobs had a dream: to build a racetrack that would bring the thrill of racing to life in Wayne County. Now, 60 years later, we are celebrating the incredible legacy of Wayne County Speedway and all the memories it has given to the fans and drivers alike.
“As someone who had the honor of promoting the 50th anniversary, it’s a privilege to now celebrate the 60th”, stated Jason Flory, Owner/Promoter of WCS. “Keeping this historical racetrack alive and thriving year after year is a responsibility I cherish deeply!”
The 2025 season will kick off on April 5, and we have planned a very special 60th Anniversary Race on June 28 to mark this milestone. “We’ve put together an exciting schedule filled with action-packed racing and memorable moments with even more events still being added”, stated Flory.
