The Northern Ohio Sim Racing Association opened it’s 2025 season at South Boston Speedway. The Chargers (Mini Stocks) and Grand Nationals (Street Stocks) were on the card for Opening Night.

33 Chargers signed in to race the 25 lap Main event. Kyle Coursen and Kerek Ball led the field to the green flag, which was short-lived as the 33 car field slowed for an incident in turn 2 before a lap could be completed. After eight cautions and 20 of the scheduled 25 laps completed, the time limit expired with Andrew Bogusz leading. Bogusz would take the Feature Win over Ryan Likens (2nd), Albert Francis (3rd), Kyle Coursen (4th) and Chloe Mazzagatti (5th) completed the top five. Coursen, Ball and Bogusz won the Heat Races.

42 Grand Nationals were in attendance for their 40-lap Feature event. Michael Whiting and Albert Francis brought the field to the green flag, unlike the Charger event earlier, the Grand Nationals got to race some green flag racing and completed the scheduled distance of 40 laps. Charger winner Andre Bogusz found himself up front for half of the race but Kevin Myers charged from the fourth starting position to put the #67 in Victory Lane, holding off a late charge from Randy Hedrick. Hendrick settled for second, while Chase Hummel (3rd), Albert Francis (4th) and Ryan Jursik (5th) completed the top five. Whiting, Francis, and Devin Glessner won the Heat Races.

The NOSRA Chargers and Grand Nationals enjoy a week off before returning to action on December 3rd at The Bulling at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Many drivers have entered the NOSRA Turkey Bowl 100 on Tuesday, November 25th, a 100 lap feature event at Sling Super Speedway.
