Once a state of the art racing facility now sits partially dismantled as Mother Nature reclaims the Earth. Mansfield Motorsports Park (aka Mansfield Motorsports Speedway and Mansfield Motor Speedway) hosted the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series from 2004-2008. Mansfield annually attracted the biggest national tours of short track racing from ASA to USAR Hooter’s Pro Cup, Mansfield hosted it all.
Ohio’s Lost Speedways made a pit stop at Mansfield Motorsports Park in the summer of 2022 and checked out what remains of the once-great speedway. It should be noted that the track sits on private property and is patrolled by a guard. Please do not hop fences or attempt to go any further than the parking lot.
Below is a photo of Mansfield Motorsports Park in 2007 as the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series raced at the .44 mile oval in the Ohio 250. The 2007 edition of the Ohio 250 was broadcasted live on Fox (and later Speed after a rain delay). Dennis Setzer (#75) took the victory that evening.
