“The Track That Action Built” welcomes the All Star Circuit of Champions for a Tuesday night dirt track spectacular.
Seventy-five years of clay-slinging, slide-jobbing history all comes down to this. On Tuesday, May 12th, the Sandusky County Fairgrounds will roar to life as Fremont Speedway celebrates its diamond anniversary with the highly anticipated 75th Birthday Bash.
Sanctioned by the NAPA Auto Parts All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Valvoline Oil, this mid-week blockbuster is set to deliver on the track’s legendary reputation. Presented by Kistler Racing Products, the night boasts a massive $75,000 total A-main purse, offering a cool $20,000 to win and $1,000 just to start the feature.
When the lights go on and the 410 winged sprints push off, fans will be treated to a classic dirt track turf war: the battle-tested Fremont local regulars defending their home clay against the touring titans of the All Star Circuit of Champions.
The $50,000 Sweep: Fremont and Attica Team Up

As if the prestige and heavy payouts weren’t enticing enough, the stakes for the week have been raised to historic heights. Fremont Speedway and nearby Attica Raceway Park have joined forces to offer a massive $10,000 bonus to any driver who can win both tracks’ marquee events. If a driver manages to pull off this incredible two-race sweep, their total winner’s share for the week will skyrocket to a life-changing $50,000.
“Fremont and Attica work very closely together to help the local fans and race teams and this is an opportunity to continue that relationship that will bring excitement to the teams and fans,” said Justin Liskai, Director of Operations for Attica Raceway Park.
For both tracks, the massive financial commitment is about much more than just the headline-grabbing first-place prize. They are dedicated to supporting the entire field of drivers, with both facilities paying out big purses from top to bottom. In fact, both A-mains are paying out over $70,000 throughout the feature events.
“It’s a great way to not only reward the winners but the loyal race teams that support both tracks every week,” said Rich Farmer, Fremont Speedway Promoter.
Defending the Home Turf: The Fremont Regulars

There is no home-field advantage quite like Fremont Speedway. The tight, semi-banked third-mile oval demands precision and punishes mistakes, giving the weekly locals a distinct edge when the touring series roll into town.
Leading the charge for the local brigade is Cap Henry, the defending Fremont Speedway 410 Sprint Car track champion. Piloting the familiar No. 33W, Henry has mastered the tricky surface and will be looking to keep the prize money in local hands.
He won’t be fighting the invaders alone. The local roster is stacked with seasoned wheelmen eager to steal the spotlight on the national stage:
- Zeth Sabo: After a stellar runner-up finish in the recent points standings, Sabo is primed to put his No. 29 machine at the front of the pack.
- Chris Andrews: A veteran of “The Track That Action Built” who always knows how to find the moisture on the bottom or ride the cushion when the track slickens off.
- D.J. Foos & Stuart Brubaker: Two perennial contenders who have turned countless laps at Fremont and have proven they can run wheel-to-wheel with anyone in the country on a Tuesday night.
The Invaders: All Star Circuit of Champions

The NAPA Auto Parts All Star Circuit of Champions are no strangers to invading hostile territory. The grueling touring schedule breeds a hardened, adaptable group of drivers who thrive on rolling into a track and upsetting the local faithful.
The All Star roster brings an elite crop of 410 winged sprint car talent, featuring drivers who make their living running inches from the wall at over 100 miles per hour. Expect to see the series’ heavy hitters throwing aggressive slide jobs in turns one and two, utilizing their raw horsepower and touring experience to try and outmuscle Henry, Sabo, and the rest of the Fremont gang.
When the local heroes square off against the relentless pace of the All Stars, the racing is guaranteed to be nothing short of breathtaking.
