Early forecasts are calling for snow to hit Northeast Ohio Thursday and Friday of the upcoming week and the annual Turkey Leg 150 at Painesville Speedway could be affected. Snow won’t stop the annual race as the race will run in rain, sleet, snow or full sun!
This year’s Turkey Leg 150 will pay tribute to Zac Brunkala, who passed away in October after a highway accident . Brunkala, no stranger to the Turkey Leg, was a regular competitor at Painesville Speedway. We spoke to Randy Maggio, Jr. last week about the field size for the Turkey Leg, he stated that they had a pretty good number of pre-entries and expected anywhere from 50-80 cars to compete at “The Battleground” on Saturday, November 30th.
Local news station, WJW Fox 8 is forecasting highs in the mid 30’s and snow both Friday and Saturday.
