When the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series announced its 2025 schedule on Thursday, it gave a clearer picture of what the big events across the Buckeye State would be in 2025.
Fremont Speedway made the switch from the World of Outlaws to the High Limit Series in 2025, moving to a Wednesday race on May 14th from the Memorial Day date in 2024.
But Fremont isn’t the only track hosting the High Limit Series in 2025, with Eldora Speedway hosting four High Limit races including the lead-up to the Kings Royal and two races at the 4-Crown Nationals in September. Eldora will host the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars four times as well including dates in May and the Kings Royal in July.
Attica Raceway Park will return with their traditional two World of Outlaws dates, one of which is the Brad Doty Classic in July. Attica traditionally opens Ohio Sprint Speedweek with a Friday program.
Sharon Speedway once again will host the World of Outlaws, during Memorial Day weekend and will be joined by the previously mentioned Attica date and the line stop at Atomic Speedway near Chillicothe, OH. Atomic hosted the Ohio Sprint Speedweek finale in 2024 under the control of the FAST on Dirt Series.
The wildcards will come from the newly reformed All Star Circuit of Champions and the FAST on Dirt Series, both of which have yet to announce schedules for 2025.
Wayne County Speedway, traditionally home to a big sprint car show has yet to appear on any schedules, however it is assumed the annual Monday night stop of Ohio Sprint Speedweek will be held at the track in Orrville, OH. Millstream Speedway, which opened for the first time in nearly 10 years in 2024 is expected to be part of the All Star Circuit of Champions schedule.
