ATTICA, Ohio – Attica Raceway Park will host a special anniversary race Thursday, May 14 that will pay $20,000 to win ($1,200 to start) for 410 winged sprint cars.
“This is will honor the 20th anniversary of John Bores becoming the promoter of Attica Raceway Park. John’s dedication to racing, the Attica area community, to the race teams and fans and marketing partners is truly something to celebrate,” said Justin Liskai, Director of Operations at “Ohio’s Finest Racing” speed plant.

Liskai said there could be other incentives of the unsanctioned race as more details are still being ironed out. He said the total purse on May 14 will be $68,500.
“This is a great compliment to the two World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car events we will host in 2026. It’s just part of John’s efforts to get more funds into the hands of the race teams,” noted Liskai.

Liskai said the full 2026 racing schedule will be released in the very near future. Opening night for the 2026 season is slated for Friday, March 13.
