Mother Nature, via rain and cool temperatures, has forced owner/promoter Jason Flory to cancel the racing card for Saturday, April 25th, making it the fourth week in a row Orrville’s Historic Oval has not been able open the gates.
With all of April rained out, Wayne County Speedway sets it’s sights on May with four nights of action with the Ohio Valley Sprint Car Series (OVSCA) on the docket for May 9th and 16th as they will join with the Pine Tree Towing & Recovery Sprints, plus the Malcuit Tavern Super Late Models, the Flynn’s Tire & Auto Modifieds, the Canton Glass House Super Stocks and the JoyRide Transport Sport Compacts on both nights.

The All Star Circuit of Champions will be at Wayne County Speedway for the 1st of four visits on Sunday, May 24 for the Rick Susong Memorial with the Modifieds, Super Stocks and the Sport Compacts adding to the nights program.
A quick turn around for the 3/8 mile dirt oval of WCS will have the World of Outlaw Late Models roll in on Thursday, May 28 as the national touring group will be joined by the Modifieds.Times for all the races will be the normal time of gates opening at 3 pm, hot laps at 6 pm and racing at 7 pm.
