Toledo, OH — Officials with Toledo Speedway, the CRA Turn 1 Pro Series and the 350 Outlaw Super Modified Series have announced that the House of Meats Opening Day Classic has been rescheduled to Sunday, August 9.
The decision was made jointly among Toledo Speedway, the Turn 1 CRA Pro Series, and the 350 Outlaw Super Modified Series after closely monitoring the weekend forecast. The week-long pattern of severe thunderstorms, high winds and rain showers is forecast to continue throughout Saturday, while the originally scheduled Sunday rain date is projected to bring temperatures in the 40s along with wind gusts reaching up to 40 mph. Track conditions must be safe for both the CRA Turn 1 Pro Series and the winged 350 Outlaw Super Modified Series with the high speeds expected at Toledo Speedway.
All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new date. Additional event details, including updated schedules and support divisions, will be announced in the coming weeks.
